Prodigy

Prodigy - Marie Lu I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this book was! I mean seriously, this book has given me all sorts or reactions and feelings a person could have.

I love the fact that it starts right off where Legend has ended. It doesn't make you feel lost and like, re-calibrate yourself or get your bearings with the book.

Like Legend, Prodigy gives you that feeling where you're gripping the edge of your seat while reading it. I had to take a few chapter breaks and cool myself down because I've actually felt like my chest was going to explode (no kidding) while reading the book.

As usual, the chemistry between June and Day is very real and strong. I SHIP THEM SO HARD THAT I ACTUALLY FELT LIKE CRYING WHEN I THEY HAD A FIGHT. It was a dark stage. I wanted them to kiss and make-up already. Hahaha. I really like that part with the paperclip ring! It's very sweet that I actually felt myself blush. I mean, I'm totally blushing for these two, everytime they become cheesy and stuff with each other. That is an established fact.

With the things that happened in the first book, it's completely natural for the characters to become more mature. That is one of the best things this book has. The character developments were pretty much spot on. Every character has got enough scenes for the reader not to be left wondering, which allowed them to create a huge impact with the story.

This is an amazing follow-up to Legend and a great way to build up Champion. Seriously, I'm warning you, you need to have a copy of Champion before you finish this book because you wouldn't be able to help yourself. You are just going to crave and crave for more. (I'm actually so pumped up right now, but exams and all that so yeah.) I'd definitely recommend you to check this one. :)
